UPDATE: On 5/14/2020 Peppermint gave a beautiful true black male. He is as stunning as I could have hoped for and very sweet! His sire is Sweet Clover's Mayday. Sweet Clover's Sir Licorice, the new baby, rivals his sire on sweetness.

Sweet Clover's Peppermint was born April 11th, 2015. She was up and running before the neighbors spotted her, as her dam always seems to hide her births. She is a very energetic cria. She is covered in very fine, crimpy, very dark mahogany fleece.
Peppermint is gaining and growing very nicely, with very tall stature and long, straight legs.

On August 8th, 2015 Peppermint got sheared due to the immensely high heat we were having in Arkansas. Under the 3 inch long lovely fleece is a tall, straight, dark mahogany body. (She grew 3 inch fleece in 4 months.) She is loving the lack of hot fleece and enjoys playing with her cria penmates now. "Pepper" had been adopted by her 6 year old cousin who in previous years, had had two daughters the same color. She was enjoying two 'milk bars' until her dam bacame gravely ill and passed away suddenly on August 1st. She, fortunately had her surrogate to take care of her and did not seem to morn.

This yearling girl is growing to be one of my favorites. Her personality is like her name Hot and spicy. She 'talks' to me whenever I handle her. I am loving her fineness of fleece and the density she has packed on to her conformationally correct frame.

I missed taking Peppermint to the show ring as she was off farm for extended time as a buddy for a breeding female during the time she should have been shown. I feel like she would have done very well. She has both her parents propensity for lingering finest in her lovely mahogany coat.

Peppermint is a favorite for anyone who sees her. Her mahogany color is a spinners dream and the way she carries herself is a draw to the discerning breeders eye too.
